Bending section bars for lighting

Bending, roll bending, laser cutting and special processing of tubes, tubular elements and section bars for the lighting sector.

Intended uses

Considerable experience in the sector enables us to work alongside our clients with careful feasibility analyses to give concrete support to the lighting designers. We understand the importance of the esthetic quality of the finished product, a fundamental asset in this sector.

We perform processes of bending and roll bending of tubes and section bars for the following types of products:

  • Bent section bars for plasterboard in recessed lighting (ceilings, walls, floors)
  • Lamps (ceiling, floor, table, chandeliers)
  • Lighting furniture
  • Public lighting
  • Lighting of outdoor areas

Our certifications

A certified quality management system is essential to guarantee and maintain the company’s performance and value for our clients over the long term.

Tecnocurve is ISO 9001 quality certified by CSQ and since 2020 its production processes have been validated in accordance with UNI EN 1090.

Tubes and relative cross sections

Processing done on section bars, tubes, square tubular elements.

Metal alloys

This is a multifaceted sector and requires the use of all the metals that we, at Tecnocurve, know so well:

Steel

Steel section bars are used for indoor applications, in this case generally including a finishing service of painting or chrome plating. This combination reduces costs considerably.

Stainless steel

For outdoor use in particular, where this alloy is required. The modern look of the section bar in stainless steel and its resistance to corrosion make it perfect for those lighting projects that require functionality and long life.

Aluminum

Its malleability, reduced weight and ability to dissipate the heat produced by modern LED lightbulbs make it the ideal metal for the creation of the most modern lighting systems. Our experts will know which bent section bars for LEDs are most suited to comply with your drawings, finding advanced technical solutions capable of combining function and design.

Bending methods

Bending and roll bending

The combination of these two processes can create unique shapes, often custom made.

Laser cutting and bending

Slots and holes for the passage of cables for insertion of the lightbulb holder assembly are produced in the initial stage of processing of the tube, before bending.

Bending and milling

Where the laser tube may not be suitable for use, the bent tube can be processed directly on the work center, where any milling necessary for the end project (fastening holes, slots for passage of cables, tube-end facing for final application) can be done.
