Bent or roll bent metal tubes, section bars and tubular elements can also be marked, drilled and flattened.
Marking
Marking of tubes or tubular elements serves to identify them thanks to the application of special data such as the product code, the production lot, the date or any other information that can serve to trace the tube.
The marking done by Tecnocurve may include:
- Mechanical marking
- Laser marking
In both cases, it is used by the client to trace the bent tubes supplied.
Laser marking is done with the laser tube; it is rapid and highly customizable. Mechanical marking is done manually in a longer process that, however, offers the advantage of remaining visible even after surface treatments.
Flattening
Flattening is mainly done on round tubes and serves to deform the end of the bent tube by pressing the ends together and flattening them.
Automotive systems and ski lifts are the main sectors that use this service.
We design and produce special dies that are then installed on hydraulic presses capable of completing the processing on the bent tube.
We can combine processing with the laser tube and flattening so as to obtain more rapid accessory transformations that would otherwise be done later (drilling or slotting).
Drilling
Drilling is a process that, as the name suggests, enables us to drill holes of various sizes and shapes in tubes, tubular elements and section bars in steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
We can drill many different types of holes, both with the laser tube before cold bending and after bending with work centers or specific semi-automatic drilling machines.
We produce normal holes, tapered holes, counterbored or threaded holes.
At times, to optimize the process, it is possible to perform these operations during the bending or roll bending cycle, once again reducing to a minimum the total time necessary for completion of the work.
