Bent steel tubular elements for agricultural machinery

We bend tubular elements for agricultural machinery using the most advanced bending methods.

Types of agricultural machinery

Our work for the agricultural sector is not limited merely to bending special section bars for the tractor cabs, but also applies to all the other tubes and tubular elements that are part of the following equipment:
  • Three-point linkages (shredders, salt and fertilizer spreaders, brush cutters)
  • Spirals for rotary harrows
  • Restraining frames
  • Safety roll-bars
  • Tanker supports
  • Round balers
  • Atomizers

Our certifications

A certified quality management system is essential to guarantee and maintain the company’s performance and value for our clients over the long term.

Tecnocurve is ISO 9001 quality certified by CSQ and since 2020 its production processes have been validated in accordance with UNI EN 1090.

Types of tubular elements and cross sections:

Taking advantage of our innovative fleet of machines, we process bent tubes with cross sections up to Ø219 mm and square or rectangular tubular elements up to 180×180 mm.

We can confirm without a doubt that in this field, our knowledge is profound and far-reaching: this is the sector in which Tecnocurve has always worked since its foundation in 1991.

The experience gained over more than a decade in collaboration with multinational companies operating in the field of agricultural machinery gives us the confidence to state with assurance that we understand all the basic technical problems of the sector and can be counted on as a reliable, skilled partner when it comes to bending tubes for the sector using cold plastic deformation (CPD).

Metal alloys

Most of the bent tubular elements are in a metal alloy of steel as it is the metal best able to resist the great stresses to which farm equipment is subject.

Bending methods

Bending and roll bending

The mastery that we have acquired in this sector enables our clientele to rely on Tecnocurve when it comes to cold plastic deformation (CPD). From the outset, in the engineering stage, we share with our client all the information necessary to design a product as functional and economical as possible. Bending can be combined with roll bending to create non-repetitive geometries for custom-designed machines that may be more functional for certain projects.

Laser cutting and bending

The processing done prior to bending can include drilling holes, cutting slots or making mitre cuts necessary to the end client to assemble the finished machine.

Bending and milling

Where the laser cutter is unable to do a satisfactory job because of the difficulty of the process or because it is close to a bend, our numerically controlled milling centers come into play.
