Tecnocurve offers tube bending services for steel, stainless steel and aluminium tubes.

The use of latest-generation CNC bending machines allows the cold deformation of:

  • round metal tubes with cross-section from Ø10 mm up to a maximum of Ø139.7 mm
  • square/rectangular tubes with cross-section from minimum 10×10 to maximum 120×120 mm

We also offer CNC bending for pipes and tubes with the following cross-sections:

  • 150×100 mm
  • 160×80 mm

as well as bending of special hollow sections for which special equipment is designed, studied and manufactured.

The achievable bending radius usually ranges from a minimum of 1.5 times the tube cross-section, up to a maximum of 5 times. If we have a Ø70 metal pipe, for example, the possible bending radius will range from about 105 mm up to 350 mm. Discover our tube bending services


As regards roll bending tubes and pipes, i.e. bending pipes with a relatively wide bending radius, Tecnocurve can roll tubes and pipes from Ø10 mm up to a maximum of Ø154 mm diameter for round pipes and 120×120 mm cross-section for square/rectangular tubes.

Indicatively, the minimum rolling radius is equivalent to 5 times the value of the tube (or pipe) cross-section to be rolled (if we have a Ø88.9 tube, for example, the minimum rolling radius will be about 440 mm).

The rolling of hollow or closed tubular steel or aluminium sections (UNP, HeA, HeB, IPE) is also carried out thanks to the design and internal production of equipment suitable for reducing the possible deformations in the bending process.

Roll bending sections after they have been pre-cut by laser pipe enables Tecnocurve to satisfy any market requirement, making it a leading tube bending company.


Tecnocurve has two innovative laser pipe machines.

These laser tube machines allow to cut metal tube bars to size for bending and rolling operations in a clean and fast way. They perform all machining operations before the cold deformation phases such as:

  • angled laser cuts
  • slots with various designs and geometries
  • holes and countersunk holes
  • bending laser pre-cuts
  • markings and engravings

The machinable cross-sections with laser pipe range from:

  • a minimum of Ø12 mm to a maximum of Ø230 mm for round tubes
  • from Ø20×20 mm to Ø200×200 mm for square/rectangular tube sections

The maximum machinable thickness is 15 mm for steel and 6 mm for stainless steel and aluminium tubes  for 2D laser cuts.  For 3D laser cuts the tube thickness is typically reduced.


Tecnocurve has two machining centres with 3 controlled axes (CNC bending machines), with a 2000 x 850 mm working table, suitable for drilling and milling operations on metal parts already bent.

Aluminium tubes, three-point hitches usually used in agriculture and slide rails can be processed very easily with these CNC machines. Thanks to our specialist machine operators, we fully meet the needs of our customers.

The speed in changing tools from the CNC bending machine magazine, and an automatic sensor for monitoring machining operations, guarantee high-performance tube bending and precise tube processing.

The two CNC machining centres are also used for the production of special tools, such as bending dies, spindles, mandrels and control jigs.


In 2016, Tecnocurve added a CNC lathe to its machine fleet. The new lathe has 3 axes, CADCAM software, axial/radial turrets and a maximum turning length of 1200 mm.

The machine allows our tube bending company to produce parts as bushes, hubs and many other parts for welded assemblies. Moreover, it enables us  to manufacture all the bending tools internally.

The main competitive advantages are: high-performance, high-precision tube processing and average lead-time reduction thanks to our ability to produce everything internally as needed.


Our tube bending company has a welding department for the production of simple and complex welded parts using MIG-MAG techniques, Tig and braze-welding. This can be done on metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel (AISI 304-316) and light alloys like aluminum and brass.

We also weld to a perfect seal according to the standard UNI EN 303-5 and do arc welding with continuous filament, following the procedure in accordance with standard UNI EN ISO 3834-4:2006. On request, we can perform non-destructive testing with certified operators at the second level (visual inspection) in accordance with standard UNI EN ISO 9712:2012.


Tecnocurve ensures its clients the use of welders qualified according to European standard EN ISO 9606-1 (which replaces UNI EN 287-1), followed by an internal welding coordinator trained according to UNI EN ISO 14731:2007.
